Foundry Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design foundry tooling in Creo software using standards in place and best practices for No-bake molding process
• Resolve casting issues, re-gate, simulate, and perform all other tasks as needed

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Associate or Bachelor's degree
• Foundry Engineer experience (Tools Quotation, Casting Scrap defects analysis & resolution, Foundry process knowledge, no-bake process, cold box process)
• Foundry tooling Design experience (Pattern and core boxes, Complex modeling, intuitive knowledge of P/L, offsets, clearances, layout in tool build, no-bake process, cold box process)
• Creo modeling and flow simulation analysis using SolidCast
• Machining print reading and geometric tolerance understanding
• Casting simulation experiences (SolidCast preferred)

Pay

The Pay Range For This Role Is 105,000 - 115,000 USD per year
