Founding Software Engineer

About the role

The role is for a founding engineer to be in-person in New York City as soon as possible. IronLedger is a startup aiming to reduce the cost of managing housing through automation, particularly in accounting and property management workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build at the frontier of AI in Real Estate: Lead development of agents and AI-enabled software for accounting and property management workflows
• Be incredibly product-focused: Translate product requirements and feedback directly from customers into high-quality features and magical user experiences
• Wear many hats and be an owner: Focus on full stack development, but also be open to other responsibilities such as visiting customers, listening to feedback, and designing product UI/UX
• Transition into IronLedger’s Head of Engineering as the company grows

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development with experience building applications using foundational models, Vector DBs, and AI agent frameworks
• Key Skills: AWS, NextJs, Python, experience with Vector DBs, prompt engineering, and deploying agents into production (nice to have)
