Founding Marketer

MintMCP · San Francisco, CA · 3 days ago
HybridMarketingFull-time

MintMCP helps companies put agents to work safely. We build the infrastructure that allows a company's own work to be run by agents, starting with trust. Our first product is an MCP gateway that provides governed access to company data and tools, ensuring agents have only the permissions they need for their tasks. From there, we're building the rest of the agent stack: connectors, monitoring, sandboxing, long-running agents, and memory, aiming to become the system a company's work runs on.

We work in person in the San Francisco Bay Area. The structure is flat and the market moves fast, so you have a lot of latitude over what you work on and how.

About the role

You own how MintMCP grows. Turn heavy inbound into measurable, repeatable pipeline across both self-serve (where an engineer tries the gateway) and sales-assisted (where security review turns into a company-wide deal) motions. You own positioning for a technical buyer and demand gen across SEO, AEO, paid, and content. You run a webinar series and a steady stream of campaign experiments, build outbound from the ground up with the AE team, and own the lifecycle that turns signups, trials, and security reviews into pipeline. You also own the numbers: how every channel performs, CAC, payback, and a forecast the team can plan against.

You orchestrate a fleet of agents to handle research, enrichment, sequencing, follow-up, content drafts, and reporting, allowing one marketer to cover more ground than a traditional team. Agents take on the repeatable work, so the role can stay broad. This role calls for a senior growth marketer with the range to set the message, pick the highest-leverage bets, and instrument the funnel, then use agents to run it.

Responsibilities

  • Turn inbound demand into measurable, repeatable pipeline for both self-serve and sales-assisted motions.
  • Own positioning and messaging for a technical buyer, and execute demand generation across SEO, AEO, paid, and content.
  • Run a webinar series and campaign experiments to identify and scale high-performing channels.
  • Build outbound motion from the ground up in partnership with the AE team.
  • Own the lifecycle that converts signups, trials, and security reviews into pipeline.
  • Analyze funnel performance, model CAC, payback, and create forecasts the team can plan against.
  • Orchestrate a fleet of agents to automate research, enrichment, sequencing, follow-up, content creation, and reporting.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the funnel, design and ship experiments quickly, and iterate based on data.

Requirements

  • Built a growth marketing function from zero at an early-stage B2B company, ideally in dev-tools, infra, or security.
  • Turned messy demand into measurable pipeline and can point to specific results.
  • Strong positioning and messaging instincts for a technical buyer (engineers, security leaders, AI leaders).
  • Experience running demand across multiple channels (SEO, AEO, paid, lifecycle, content) and ability to identify the next lever.
  • Experience with both self-serve PLG and sales-assist motions into a buying committee, understanding their distinct needs.
  • Fluent in attribution, funnel analytics, and modeling CAC, payback, and forecasts.
  • Deeply AI-native; already use agents to multiply your productivity.
  • Built or directed agentic workflows, not just used AI tools, and excited to run a fleet of agents as your team.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, early-stage environments where you define priorities, ship quickly, and iterate based on data.

Nice to have

  • Stood up successful outbound motion in close partnership with AEs on targeting, messaging, and sequencing.
  • Experience taking a product upmarket or repositioning and repricing one.
  • Built a growth function at an AI-native company.
  • Field marketing or events experience.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and meaningful equity.
  • Opportunity to define how a fast-growing infrastructure company goes to market and build the first AI-native growth engine from scratch.
  • Direct access to the CEO, customers, and product direction.
  • Health benefits, with a team that prioritizes family and health.
