Founding GTM Lead, AgentSpot

About the role

Build GTM for AgentSpot from zero. You’ll have direct access to the CEO, product team, ThoughtSpot's customer base, and the GTM organization, plus a dedicated matrix team (PMM and growth coordinator) from day one.

Your goal: find what works, land the first 20 customers, and build the playbook to get to 200.

Responsibilities

• Own AgentSpot GTM: define ICP, use cases, positioning, channels, and growth strategy.
• Run growth experiments: content, social, community, events, outbound, partnerships, product-led growth. Test constantly and double down on what works.
• Build the story: collaborate with PMM to make AgentSpot easy to understand, differentiated, and relevant.
• Get the first 20 customers: find, pitch, demo, go-live, and turn them into advocates.
• Work directly with Product: spend time with users, learn their needs, and feed that signal into the product roadmap.
• Build the GTM machine: turn the first 20 customers into a repeatable model for the next 200.

Requirements

• You are a zero-to-one builder who thrives in high-ownership roles.
• You care more about what works than traditional GTM playbooks.
• You understand modern B2B growth driven by product, content, community, founders, customers, and experimentation—not just MQLs and handoffs.
• You follow how people discover, adopt, and buy new AI products.
• You can build an audience, run experiments, and interpret data.
• You move fast and don’t need a large team or detailed instructions to execute.
• You may have built growth at a startup, been an early GTM hire, launched your own product, built a community, or done something unconventional.
• You can sell: you don’t need an AE to have great customer conversations or close deals.
• We value what you’ve built over titles or years of experience.

AI Mindset & Skills

• Comfortably integrate AI into daily workflows to increase productivity and quality.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools (industry-leading LLMs) to automate tasks and improve work quality.
• Use AI for research, content creation, and document summarization while maintaining ownership of judgment and final decisions.
• Write effective prompts to get accurate and creative results from AI tools.
• Exemplify key traits: curiosity in exploring new AI tools, adaptability to learn and implement emerging AI technologies, and critical thinking to know when to use AI vs. human judgment.

At ThoughtSpot, AI fluency is required for every role. All Spotters are expected to experiment with ThoughtSpot’s AI tools (like Spotter and SpotterViz) and leading industry LLMs to streamline workflows, enhance output, and uncover insights. Training and resources are provided.

Schedule

In-office 3+ days per week. Momentum compounds when teams collaborate in person with faster decisions, sharper problem-solving, and peer learning that doesn’t happen over screens.

266,000 – 380,000 USD per year (US Zone 1).
