Founding Engineer (up to $200k)

About the role

This is an AI company building the orchestration layer for how the physical world gets built. They analyze billions of signals to predict where major construction projects will happen next, helping the architects, engineers, and builders behind landmark infrastructure find, win, and deliver their next multi-million-dollar projects. It's a recently funded, early-stage team applying vertical AI to a massive, under-digitized industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the core prediction layer, identifying non-obvious signals for future construction projects.
• Own features end-to-end, from initial concept and research to production deployment and iteration.
• Integrate and deploy LLMs into production systems to enhance signal analysis and prediction accuracy.
• Engage directly with leading architecture, engineering, and construction clients to gather feedback and inform product development.

Requirements

Based in New York or willing to relocate, and committed to working in person five days a week.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience building and deploying LLMs into production environments.
• A desire to own the full stack end-to-end, from ideation to customer-facing features.
• Strong product curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving; you ask questions, you don't wait for specs.
