Founding Engineer ($120k-$150k + Equity) at VizCo

About the role

You will join as a founding member to build the governance layer for enterprise AI. You’ll develop systems that sit between sensitive data and model endpoints, enforcing PII redaction and policy control. This role involves full-stack ownership, from macOS Swift clients to Azure-centric backend services, directly securing AI adoption for regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Build core product and platform features end-to-end using TypeScript, Python, and Swift for macOS desktop clients.
• Arcitect and operate production systems in an Azure-centric environment, integrating with Microsoft Graph and Google Workspace.
• Establish the engineering culture, hiring standards, and technical roadmap as the first engineer in a high-growth environment.

Requirements

• Proven full-stack expertise with deep production-level experience in Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud ecosystems.
• Strong background in high-performance engineering environments like Microsoft or Google, with expertise in Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Exceptional builder mentality with original problem-solving evidence, such as hackathon wins, open-source contributions, or complex side projects.

Qualifications

• PhD in AI and human behavior from Stanford HAI.
• Deep Silicon Valley engineering background.

Skills

• Full-stack development skills in TypeScript, Python, and Swift.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
