Job Summary
Mage Legal is an AI-native legal technology company building core infrastructure for M&A, PE, and corporate legal teams. This role is based in person in San Francisco, CA (not remote).
About the Role
You will own the visual design and user experience across Mage Legal’s marketing surface area and product-adjacent workflows. You will work directly with the founder to shape how sophisticated legal buyers discover, evaluate, and trust Mage Legal.
Responsibilities
- Create high-credibility marketing pages, landing pages, and web experiences tailored to legal and PE audiences.
- Design product-adjacent experiences such as demos, onboarding flows, and workflow previews that communicate trust, rigor, and clarity.
- Design email templates, outbound assets, and other GTM touchpoints used in founder-led sales and partnerships.
- Collaborate directly with the CEO and engineering to translate product and business goals into clear visual systems.
- Run rapid iteration cycles informed by usage, conversion, and qualitative customer feedback.
- Help define and evolve Mage Legal’s brand identity and design system as the company scales.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing landing pages, B2B SaaS marketing sites, or high-trust product experiences.
- Excellent judgment around clarity, hierarchy, and credibility—especially for professional or enterprise users.
- Data-informed mindset: you care about what works and iterate based on signal, not taste.
- Comfortable operating independently in an early-stage environment with minimal design infrastructure.
- Experience designing for legal, fintech, dev tools, or other high-stakes professional software.
- Familiarity with AI-native products or LLM-driven workflows.
- Front-end development experience.
