Founding Chief Technology Officer
MeeBoss is sharing this active opportunity on behalf of Meo Health, a company that uses AI to transform smartphones into accessible biofeedback therapy devices for patients with nervous system disorders. This is a remote, full-time role for a senior-level founding executive who will serve as the Chief Technology Officer while also contributing as an individual contributor across the full stack.
Location: Remote (Candidate must be based in Canada; open to Europe with adjusted compensation)
About the role
Join a small, fast-moving team with no micromanagement, clear sprint goals every two weeks, and significant autonomy and ownership. You will work directly with the Head of Engineering to tackle complex technical challenges and apply AI to solve real-world problems in digital health.
Responsibilities
- Tackle complex technical challenges, including applying AI to solve real-world problems
- Contribute as an individual contributor across the stack — front end and back end
- Leverage AI tools to automate workflows and ship high-quality, production-ready code quickly
- Collaborate in a lean, startup environment with autonomy and ownership
- Grow the engineering team, hire, and set the culture
Requirements
- Self-starting engineer with 7+ years of experience in React Native, Node.js, and JavaScript, or the ability to quickly ramp up on these technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for coding
- Solid full-stack experience (React Native, Node.js, JavaScript)
- Background in Series A+ or later-stage venture-backed startups
- Experience (or excitement to learn) working with LLM-based features (voice agent)
- Passion for mission-driven companies and digital health applications
- Bachelor’s degree
Benefits

- Base salary worth $500,000 to $1.5M today (equity valuation)
Pay
$75,000 - $200,000/year base salary plus a large equity package
