Founding Board Member (MBA Leaders Forum)

About the Role

Join the MBA Leaders Forum Professional Association, officially sponsored by the MBA Standards Board, as a Founding Board Member. This is a high-visibility, executive-level volunteer appointment for MBA holders who wish to define national standards for the AI-integrated MBA level and executive marketplace. As a Founding Board Trustee or Advisor, you will help establish a new professional association for MBAs from diverse universities, primarily in English-speaking countries like the United States and Canada.

This role is designed for leaders aiming to stabilize their careers in the AI era, increase marketplace value, and enhance visibility. The association addresses the lack of inclusive, non-segmented networking organizations for MBAs, providing solutions to challenges like outdated diplomas and skill validation in AI-driven recruitment systems.

Commitment

• 2–4 hours per month dedicated to writing tasks, including:
• 2 LinkedIn posts per month
• 4 thought-leader comments (3-5 sentences each) on the MBA Leaders Forum page and group posts
• Responding to messages
• Co-writing a published white paper
• Co-project advising
• Display the MBA+™ and Certified MBA™ badges on your LinkedIn Profile Header and About section.

Founding Mandate (Board Requirements)

To ensure Board members represent the "Gold Standard" of professional excellence, all Trustees and Advisory Board members must complete a Standards Validation Phase (Onboarding):

• Curriculum Validation: Complete and vet a core AI and Ethics module via Coursera.com to establish the baseline for the national network.
• Specialization Mastery: Select one of 21 high-demand tracks (e.g., FinTech, Sustainable Leadership, or AI Strategy) to represent as a Subject Matter Expert.
• Brand Alignment: Maintain a unified executive presence by displaying the MBA+™ and Certified MBA™ designations on your LinkedIn profile and contributing to one Board-led co-written project or publication.
• Thought Leadership: Contribute one "MBA Case Study" or "Business Framework" LinkedIn post per month (using provided templates) and four thought-leader comments to grow association visibility and engagement.
