About the role

We’re seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Founding Account Executive to lead Beam's exciting expansion into the United States with our innovative platform, Beam Notes.

This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving our initial market entry, securing our first US partnerships, establishing our impact, and directly contributing to our ambitious scaling journey.

Responsibilities

  • Executing our Go-to-Market Strategy: Taking ownership of and implementing the initial market entry strategy for Beam Notes in the US.
  • Building and Owning Your Pipeline: Identifying, engaging, and nurturing potential partners within the US market to build a robust and probability-weighted pipeline to achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Closing Deals: Effectively presenting the value proposition of Beam Notes, negotiating terms, and closing deals with key decision-makers in target organizations.
  • Cultivating Strong Relationships: Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels within prospect organizations.
  • Providing Market Feedback: Gathering and relaying valuable insights from the US market to the product and leadership teams to inform product development and market strategy.
  • Contributing to Sales Strategy: Testing and contributing to the development of effective sales strategies and playbooks for the US market.
  • Reporting and Tracking Progress: Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and progress within our CRM system, Hubspot, to enable accurate forecasting and performance analysis.

  • A Strategic Mindset: You can think strategically about market opportunities and develop effective approaches to engage potential partners.
  • An Adaptive and Growth Mindset: You thrive in a dynamic environment, are comfortable with ambiguity, and are eager to learn and adapt quickly.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience working with or selling into State or Local government, nursing homes, or healthcare industries in the US

What you’ll be doing

  • Successfully closing initial deals in the US market, demonstrating the value and impact of Beam Notes.
  • Building a strong and qualified pipeline of US-based prospects.
  • Providing valuable market insights that inform Beam’s US market strategy and product development.
  • Establishing a foundational sales process for future growth in the US.
  • Contributing to Beam’s overall international expansion and revenue targets.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary of $80k - $140k and OTE/commission of 100% of base salary
  • Competitive range of perks based on geography
  • Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, location and previous experience
