About the role
This is a high-accountability role with unusually high upside for someone who can turn trust, discipline, and insurance fluency into revenue.
Responsibilities
- Run discovery, demonstrations, commercial conversations, and close plans with insurance agencies
- Build multithreaded relationships with agency owners, producers, and operations leaders
- Convert opportunities into submissions, bound premium, and retained revenue
- Maintain rigorous pipeline, forecast, and next-step discipline
- Cook with brokers, underwriting, markets, and product to solve obstacles quickly
- Turn early wins into expansion, referenceability, and a repeatable sales playbook
What You Will Own
- Own a qualified pipeline with credible close plans by day 60
- Close initial business and demonstrate repeatable opportunity progression by day 90
- Bind $5M in premium and produce $350K in retained revenue in 12 months

- Master Hedge's product, agency workflow, market offering, and sales process within first 30 days

Pay
Base salary is $110K-$150K, creating a target cash range of $460K-$500K across the base range. Target variable compensation is $350K at $5M in annual bound premium, with uncapped accelerators above target. Equity is 0.50% at hire, with up to an additional 0.25% performance grant.
Schedule
This role is based in San Francisco and works in person with the team six days a week.
