About the role
This role involves owning every human interaction at the top of the funnel, including calls, meetings, and personalized outreach with district and school leaders. The primary responsibility is to turn warm interest into qualified demos with district decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Map stakeholders and navigate complex buying groups to reach the people who can say yes.
- Run discovery that uncovers what districts actually need and represent Flint in a way that makes them want a second conversation.
- Improve our playbook by sharing insights on what resonates, where conversations stall, and which personas convert.
Requirements
- 1-3+ years in a customer-facing role where you had a number to hit (sales, business development, fundraising, recruiting, or similar).
- Comfortable owning the phone and being at your best in live conversation.
- Clear communication skills, ability to read a room, and good judgment in representing Flint to school leaders.
- A drive for outcomes rather than activity, and resilience in the face of rejection.
Qualifications
- Experience selling to schools, districts, or public-sector buyers.
- Software sales experience.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Apollo, or similar tools.
- An EdTech background is a plus, but not required.
Skills

Pay
$125K OTE (approx. $85K base + $40K variable, tied to qualified demos booked), plus meaningful early-stage equity.
Schedule
The role primarily involves phone calls, with occasional travel to support international clients.
