Foundation Foreman
About the role
The Foundation Foreman at Conductor Power is responsible for supervising day-to-day field activities related to civil foundation work on renewable energy projects. This includes managing crew assignments for excavation, trenching, rebar installation, formwork, pile driving, and concrete pours. The role ensures that work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily foundation crew activities, including laborers and equipment operators, to keep work on schedule.
- Oversee foundation construction tasks such as ground preparation, trenching, pile driving, rebar placement, formwork, and concrete pours.
- Interpret construction drawings and layout plans, while collaborating with survey and QA/QC teams to verify alignment, elevations, and pour readiness.
- Monitor productivity, track daily progress, and communicate delays, material needs, equipment issues, and weather impacts to project leadership.
- Enforce safety and quality standards through pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and maintaining a clean, organized job site.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of civil construction experience with a focus on concrete, excavation, structural foundations, or related field operations.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to supervise crews, coordinate work activities, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, field layout, pile driving, rebar installation, concrete formwork, and finishing techniques.
- OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid certification, and bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED required; trade/vocational training and a willingness to travel 100% to project sites are highly valued.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
