Overview

The Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation Graduate Fellowship was created to invest in emerging leaders who are passionate about improving community health through food, research, innovation, and collaboration. This selective, one-year leadership fellowship offers exceptional graduate students the opportunity to work directly with Foundation leadership on strategic initiatives that strengthen nutrition, improve food access, advance healthy communities, and help shape the future of corporate philanthropy.

Job Description

Through mentorship, applied learning, and meaningful project leadership, Fellows contribute to real-world initiatives while developing the skills, relationships, and experience to become the next generation of leaders in food systems, public health, and philanthropy.

Overview Of Responsibilities

• Coordinate strategic Foundation initiatives from planning through implementation
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, meetings, and follow-up actions
• Prepare executive briefings, presentations, and project updates
• Help quarterback cross-functional initiatives involving Foundation staff, nonprofit partners, researchers, and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a master’s program in Food Systems, Nutrition, Public Health, Sustainability, Public Policy, Business, Nonprofit Management, Agriculture, Environmental Studies, or a related field
• Outstanding research, writing, analytical, and project management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Interest in AI tools and emerging technologies
• Passion for healthy food, healthier communities, and mission-driven leadership
