Responsibilities
- Raise funds for the McLeod Health Foundation through a strategic fund development program.
- Generate philanthropic support through annual and major gifts for the McLeod Health Foundation.
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit individuals, businesses, corporations, community groups, and Foundation’s donors, prospects, sponsors.
- Expand fundraising efforts for the McLeod Health Foundation, including travel throughout the region and a personal calls program with donors, prospects, sponsors.
- Oversight of special groups and events, including logistics, volunteers, fund raising activities, budget, reconciliation, and donor recognition.
- Utilize the Foundation’s software system to provide reports of detailed information of donor visits, thank you calls/notes, correspondence, actions, and next steps, developing a moves management system for each donor.
- Represent the McLeod Health Foundation to key Foundation constituencies, including public speaking engagements and attendance at community events.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Two years experience in donor relations and stewardship, events planning, volunteer recruitment, and/or sales. Will consider experience in lieu of bachelor's degree.
