Spiritual qualifications

The Outreach and Development Pastor is to be a godly man committed to continually growing in Christ. This person should be a person of integrity, character, and meet the qualifications for eldership outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. This candidate should be marked by humility and a servants heart towards the Lord and others with a desire to grow in wisdom and knowledge. This candidate demonstrates an active role in the great commission through evangelism and disciple making. He resonates deeply with our mission and methodology to build foundations on Christ.

Job Description

• Initiate and develop outreach strategies to engage the community with the gospel.
• Foster relationships with nonprofits and organizations in the Auburn Hills area to create opportunities to serve.
• Meet biweekly with 5 individuals for discipleship or evangelism.
• Provide training to equip the congregation to engage in outreach and evangelism.
• ID underprivileged and needy populations for FCC to serve.
• Teach spiritual development classes for the church.
• Provide exegetical preaching to assist the lead pastor on Sunday mornings (frequency to be determined).
• Assist lead pastor in development of sermon series.
• Meet weekly with the lead pastor to discuss progress and plan for future events.
• Recruit, train, and launch teams to lead new ministry initiatives.
• Partner with Reliant to raise personal financial support for salary.
