Foster Family Liaison

About the role

Intercept Health is a family-owned agency serving various mental and behavioral health, substance use, and foster care needs in Virginia. This position will cover the entire state of Virginia.

As a Foster Family Liaison, you will recruit foster families by engaging on social media, participating in community events, and engaging with Intercept Health employees, current foster parents, community organizations, and event coordinators. They will occasionally assist Foster Family Trainers in their responsibilities when needed.

Requirements

The selected candidate will have a baccalureate degree in any field. Experience in the field of foster care or experience in working with behavioral programs, counseling, and/or skills training is preferred. Experience in marketing, sales, customer service, business development, or public relations, with an emphasis on developing new territories, target markets, and/or customer bases is highly preferred. Former youth and foster/adoptive parents are encouraged to apply.

Pay

The salary for this position is $43,000 - $53,000/year, depending on experience and education.
