Foster Care/Host Home Provider

About the role

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. This position involves fostering a home environment for an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities.
• Ensure the basic physical and emotional needs of the individual are met.
• Establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional
• Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
• Open to supervisory visits in your home

Qualifications

• Available to provide a safe and comfortable home

Skills

• Ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship

Benefits

• Contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS monthly room and board from the individual they support
• This income is tax exempt

Pay

• Per-diem rate plus room and board
