Foster Care Clinical Care Coordinator

About the role

Oversees clinical aspects of the Therapeutic Foster Care Program and assures that services are provided in accordance with all contracts, laws, regulations, and internal policies. Facilitates therapeutic services in alignment with Epworth Children's Home's mission and values to provide a safe, secure, and nurturing living experience for clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based practice with fidelity in children, adolescent, and family treatment.
• Read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Manage multiple abstract and concrete variables in a clinical setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work or another license-eligible field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Understanding of children, adolescent, and family treatment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• LMSW, LPC, LISW-CP, or LMFT preferred.
• Must pass standard background checks, including drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry, and Sex Offenders Registry.
• Belief system and faith practices compatible with those of the United Methodist Church.
