About the role

The Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Technician role involves enabling large-scale, computer-based training for Army commanders and battle staffs. The focus is on maintaining and optimizing the U.S. Army's constructive simulation toolkit to ensure mission-rehearsal exercises run flawlessly across various levels of command.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize the U.S. Army's constructive simulation toolkit
  • Ensure mission-rehearsal exercises on offensive, defensive, stability, and civil-support run flawlessly from battalion through echelons above corps
  • Provide hands-on technical expertise for the JLCCTC suite
  • Ensure simulation platforms seamlessly integrate with real-world Systems and deliver realistic, dynamic training environments

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Military training and training support
  • 5+ years of experience in integrating training environments, planning architectures, and stimulation of Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCiS) in support of unit training events and distributed exercises
  • 2+ years of experience in performing system enhancements and installing software updates
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • DoDM 8140.03 Advanced Level Certification

Qualifications

  • Nice if you have: Experience in DoD configuration and patch management processes, including STIGs or SCAP
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNS and secure LAN or WAN operations
  • Experience with Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability applications or equivalent simulation tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to instruct non-technical military personnel
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
