About the role

The Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Technician role involves enabling large-scale, computer-based training for Army commanders and battle staffs. The incumbent will maintain and optimize the U.S. Army's constructive simulation toolkit, ensuring mission-rehearsal exercises run flawlessly across various levels of command.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize the U.S. Army's constructive simulation toolkit
  • Ensure seamless integration of simulation platforms with real-world Systems
  • Provide hands-on technical expertise for the JLCCTC suite
  • Deliver realistic, dynamic training environments
  • Translate real-world needs into technical specifications
  • Support unit training events and distributed exercises
  • Perform system enhancements and install software updates

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Military training and training support
  • 5+ years of experience in integrating training environments, planning architectures, and stimulation of Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCiS)
  • 2+ years of experience in performing system enhancements and installing software updates
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and secure LAN or WAN operations
  • Secret clearance
  • DoDM 8140.03 Advanced Level Certification

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering

Skills

  • Knowledge of DoD configuration and patch management processes, such as STIGs and SCAP
  • Knowledge of JLCCTC applications or equivalent constructive simulation tools
  • Ability to instruct non-technical military personnel
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Pay

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
