About the role

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships. You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

Responsibilities

  • Lead automotive partners as they integrate Google Maps and automotive Software Development Kits (SDK) across complex domains including automotive operating system platforms, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) components, and in-vehicle infotainment.
  • Manage the automotive partner relationship and be responsible for driving issue resolutions including bugs, missing functionality, and feature requests.
  • Model the requirements, constraints, and roadmap of automotive partners internally to guide product development.
  • Support the Geo Auto Forward Deployed Engineering team as a subject matter expert.
  • Work closely with teams across the Geo Auto, Geo Developer, and Android organizations to ensure Google provides a uniform and complete automotive solution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in either system design or in one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • 6 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working with enterprise stakeholders (e.g., automakers).
  • Experience with maps products and services.
  • Experience in automotive integrations or software.

Pay

US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
