About the role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Onos Health, you will bridge the gap between AI technology and real-world deployment for major insurance payers. You’ll develop full-stack solutions, integrate with complex clinical systems, and ship production code that optimizes utilization management, ensuring millions of members receive high-quality, evidence-based behavioral healthcare.

Responsibilities
- Partner with major payer customers to understand clinical workflows and integrate Onos Health with their internal UM and clinical systems.
- Build and maintain full-stack features using Python, Django, and PostgreSQL to solve complex data integration and clinical review challenges.
- Collaborate directly with the founding team to refine the product roadmap based on real-world customer feedback and deployment hurdles.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with a product-first mindset, capable of navigating full-stack environments including Python/Django and AWS.
- Proven experience shipping production software at early-stage startups where you owned outcomes end-to-end and managed high levels of ambiguity.
- Excellent communicator comfortable working closely with customers to translate messy real-world clinical requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
