Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

We are looking for pragmatic engineers who thrive at the intersection of software development and real-world customer impact. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with customers, partners, and internal teams to build, integrate, and optimize mission-critical systems that enable seamless wholesale commerce.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and customer success to deeply understand customer’s workflows, pain points, and technical requirements.
• Design and deploy customized solutions that integrate Nuvo's platform with customer systems, ensuring seamless adoption and performance.
• Design and build custom features for Nuvo’s largest, most complicated customers that solve their most pressing problems.
• Work cross-functionally with customer success, product, engineering, and business teams to shape Nuvo’s roadmap based on field insights.
• Utilize the best tool necessary to build connectivity between core business systems.
• Serve as a trusted technical partner to customers, helping them maximize the value of Nuvo’s products.

• A strong background in software engineering or computer science.

Qualifications

• You have hacked systems together quickly and are deeply resourceful.
• You are curious about the technology landscape and are deeply aware of advancements in engineering techniques, systems, and tooling.

Nice to Have

• Background in working with enterprise customers, integrations, or B2B platforms.
• Previous experience in founding, founding engineering, solution engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.

Pay

Expected Compensation Range: $135,000-$300,000
