Job Description As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Opal Security, you will serve as the critical technical bridge between enterprise customers and our core product team. You’ll architect complex deployments, build custom integrations, and solve mission-critical identity challenges for high-scale organizations. What You Will Do Embed within enterprise sales and implementation cycles to architect custom deployments and prototype integrations that unblock major customers during critical growth phases.Debug complex customer environments, including Terraform configurations and RBAC issues, while writing production-quality code that feeds directly back into the core Opal product.Serve as a primary technical advisor to CISOs and security teams, translating high-level field requirements into specific product roadmaps and engineering priorities. The ideal candidate Possesses a strong software engineering background with the ability to write production-ready code across the stack while remaining pragmatic about unblocking customer needs.Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, excelling in high-stakes environments where listening, asking deep technical questions, and building customer trust are vital for success.Has experience with modern infrastructure tools like Terraform and a passion for rethinking identity governance and access management in the age of AI.
