• Own critical product areas end-to-end, from initial architectural design to shipping production-ready features across the full application stack.
• Collaborate directly with security teams at high-growth startups and global enterprises to validate solutions and understand real-world infrastructure challenges.
• Establish engineering patterns and write foundational code that multiplies team velocity and shapes how Opal Security scales its technical infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and shipping complex, end-to-end products across both frontend and backend in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong architectural thinking skills with the ability to thrive in undefined spaces and challenge requirements to find better technical outcomes.
• A genuine curiosity for IAM, security, or infrastructure, coupled with a desire to engage directly with customers to solve their pain points.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols like OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

Skills

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Familiarity with databases and data structures.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
