Forward Deployed Accountant

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI Agents that automate low to medium-complexity accounting workflows for corporate accounting teams.
• Enable corporate accounting teams to build and deploy AI Agents through training, workshops, and guided sessions.
• Accelerate adoption by leading enablement sessions and coaching to help users design, deploy, and maintain AI Agents.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of Agent configurations and coordinate escalation with technical resources.
• Support product improvement by sharing customer feedback and participating in feature testing.
• Guide partner-led implementations and ensure adherence to delivery guidelines.
• Travel up to 30% to customer sites for deployment and training.
• Lead internal enablement sessions to train team members on Agent-building tools.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or accounting operations.
• Strong background in accounting (CPA preferred).
• Familiarity with workflow automation, system optimization, or technology-enabled accounting.
• Understanding of data-flow, API, and integration concepts.
• Excellent communication skills for training and workshops.
• Ability to break down complex accounting processes into structured automation steps.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Nice to Haves

• CPA or degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in Professional Services, Finance Transformation, or Process Optimization.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Familiarity with AI/automation platforms (e.g., LLM agents, RPA tools).
• Previous roles like Forward Deployed Engineer or Resident Consultant.
• Experience with SQL reporting and API integrations.
• Strong business acumen to translate accounting requirements into technical workflows.
• Background in SaaS platforms for finance transformation.

Pay & Benefits

Base Pay Range: $89,600 - $134,400, plus eligible for commission. Total Rewards include Medical, Dental, Vision, Family Forming benefits, Life & Disability Insurance, and Unlimited Vacation.
