Forward Deployed Accountant

About the role

The Forward Deployed Accountant is responsible for providing financial support to our customer success team in various locations across New York City, Los Angeles, Austin, and Chicago. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to assist in managing client financials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports for clients
• Support the customer success team in financial planning and budgeting
• Collaborate with external auditors and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance
• CPA certification preferred but not required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
