About the role

This work unit exists to provide a safe environment conducive to and supportive of education at Fort Lewis College. This purpose requires many roles from unit personnel.

Responsibilities

• Patrol 40%
• Criminal Investigation 20%
• Community Relations/Policing 10%
• Documentation & Report Writing 20%
• Traffic 5%

Requirements

• Current, valid Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) certification
• One year of experience in a law enforcement field related to the work assigned to the position
