Formulation Technician
Responsibilities
- Prepare solutions used by other departments.
- Weigh, formulate, and sterile filter the drug product.
- Prepare complex equipment used in drug filling operations.
- Prepare passivation solutions and equipment.
- Assure drug and raw materials (RMP’s and RMC’s) accountabilities are maintained.
- Must be able to perform calculations and analyze results such as pH results, etc...
- Must be able to perform aseptic operations.
- Must follow all safety and cGMP’s requirements.
- Order departmental supplies and equipment, as directed.
- Perform appropriate departmental housekeeping duties.
- Participate in process improvements activities.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- An associate’s degree or degree in Chemistry, or documented course work in Chemistry, is desirable.
- 6+ months related experience and/or training is required.
