Brief Description
The Formulation Technician will be responsible for weighing all ingredients and chemicals that will go into a formulation, monitoring, preparing, and maintaining recordkeeping of formulation results.
Responsibilities
- Follows all safety, quality, GDP, and GMP Protocols
- Operates, cleans, and maintains equipment including correct and preventive maintenance on associated equipment as required
- Ensures compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking and product security
- Performs in-process and post-process quality assurance sampling, testing, and visual inspections to ensure all products meet the product specifications and customer expectations
- Records and monitors process conditions to ensure compliance to SOP
- Properly weighs, records data, and batch tracking throughout the process
- Executes tests to ensure quality and formulations are being carried as stated by SOP
- Reports the results of work in both verbal and written forms

Education And/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Requires 2 years of related experience
- Experience in working in the cannabis industry, or alternatively, in a highly regulated CPG/F&B industry
- Experience with Cannabis related equipment required
- Must be 21+ years old
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
Physical Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles
- Moderate noise level in the work environment
