Responsibilities

• Support research scientists with experiments based on company protocols, methods, and procedures.
• Examine and perform analysis on peptides, nucleic acids, proteins, and antibodies using general wet chemistry techniques and instruments such as HPLC, Solo-VPE, MFI, AKTA, DLS, HI-AC, and Viscosity.
• Formulate and characterize lipid nanoparticles.
• Assist scientists with the formulation of biologics, nucleic acids, and buffers as needed.
• Follow GLP and good documentation practices using electronic lab notebooks.
• Help organize and clean the lab and work environment.
• Adhere to documentation and safety practices.
• Ensure adherence to the highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related field with 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related field with less than 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
• Understanding of industry practices and standards.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and interpret experimental results.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with pipetting, pH, UV-VIS, and HPLC.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime as needed.

Pay

$30–$44 per hour, based on education and experience.
