Forklift Operator PT
About the role
R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part Time Forklift Operator at our Umatilla OR service center. As a Part Time Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53' long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
- Able to read manifests
- Able to read/interact with a computer display
- Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment
- Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment
- Some LTL experiences preferred
Requirements
- Must have a valid forklift license
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred forklift experience in a fast-paced environment
- Some LTL experiences
Skills
Must have:
- Strong physical fitness
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to follow safety procedures

$24.51 per hour
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 5am-11am
