Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
About the role
R+L Carriers has an immediate need for a Full-Time Forklift Operator at our Umatilla, OR service center. As a Full-Time Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
Responsibilities
- Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock
- Read manifests and interact with a computer display
Requirements
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
- Forklift experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Some LTL experience preferred
