About the role
R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Full-time Forklift Operators at our South Windsor, CT service center.
Responsibilities
- Moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
- Operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
Requirements
- Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Able to read manifests.
- Able to read/interact with a computer display.
- Must have forklift experience.
- Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.
- Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Some LTL experiences preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work various shifts.
