Starting at $25.54/hr, full-time, Monday - Friday, various shifts.
About the role
R+L Carriers has an immediate need for full-time Forklift Operators at our Birmingham, AL service center. As a Forklift Operator, you will move all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
Responsibilities
- Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers
- Operate a forklift on a non-climate-controlled dock
Requirements
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
- Ability to read manifests
- Ability to read/interact with a computer display
- Forklift experience
- Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
- Some LTL experience (preferred)
