Forklift Operator- Echo Fabrication Shop (Exp. Required)

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift within designated guidelines
• Load and unload materials from trucks
• Transport materials across the facility in a safe, organized manner
• Inspect equipment to ensure safe operation
• Assist with general shop operations and maintenance tasks
• Maintain awareness and take action to prevent hazards
• Demonstrate reliable and consistent attendance
• Building forms and bending rebar to specifications
• Shop yard maintenance
• Small equipment operations (Dozers and forklifts)

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE previous forklift experience
• Strong desire to learn new responsibilities and grow with the company
• Ability to work independently with a safety-focused attitude
• Reliable performance, punctuality, and attendance
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check

Work Environment

Exposure to machinery, outdoor weather conditions, and vibration. Frequent wet or humid conditions; loud work environment.

Physical Requirements

Frequent walking, standing, sitting, and reaching (waist to shoulder height). Occasional lifting/pushing/pulling 50-75 lbs. Occasional bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing. Ability to maintain required vision (close, distance, depth perception).
