Forklift Operator - B Shift (Storm Lake Pork)

About the role

This position is responsible for transporting, loading, unloading, and moving materials in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transport, load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility to support production and operational needs.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following all company safety procedures.
• Ensure materials are delivered to designated areas accurately and on schedule.
• Inspect materials and equipment for damage, defects, or safety concerns and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times.
• Follow inventory control procedures and assist with stock rotation and material organization.
• Support production and warehouse operations by coordinating material flow as needed.
• Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow, delays, or operational concerns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have at least 6 months forklift/warehouse experience

Work Environment

Work may be performed in warehouse, production, or refrigerated environments. Overtime, weekends, and flexible scheduling may be required based on operational needs.

Position may require standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.

Pay

$23.90/HR
