About the role
Forklift Operator responsible for loading, unloading, and handling materials in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scan guns safely and efficiently.
- Utilize manifests to stage freight, assist with loading/unloading trucks, and perform picking, packing, and inventory counts.
- Identify and document discrepancies such as overages, shortages, or damages.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment following OSHA and TSA guidelines.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous warehouse experience preferred; forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and communication.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting regularly.
Compensation & Benefits
- $19.00-$20.00/hour, with potential bonuses.
