What You Will Enjoy Doing
- Truck Drivers check-in
- Part of customer service to ensure shipping on time
- Preparing finished product to ship to the customer
- Adhere to performance standards in quality and quantity (checking for damages as well as count)
- Following warehouse receiving and shipping procedures
- Accurately records and stores raw material and finished goods in the warehouse
- Accurately handles and records all corrugated and plastic packaging products from receipt to storage and then to production
- Ensures good housekeeping within the warehouse
- Ensure adherence to all safety practices, including but not limited to Forklift and dock doors safety checklists
- Ensure usage of proper PPE
- Communicate any unsafe conditions or behavior
- Adherence to golden safety rules
- Material Handling: Loading and maintaining material levels to ensure continuous production flow
- Quality Checks at the Line: Conduct quality checks for pallets to ensure proper labeling and packaging integrity before shipment or storage
- Dunnage Sorting/Returned Packaging: Ensure all dunnage is sorted, cleaned, and organized before reintroduction into production
- AGV Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor AGV operations, troubleshooting, and handle errors promptly to maintain uninterrupted workflow
- System and Data Interaction: Operate a PC to input and track data
- Use handheld scanners and warehouse management systems for inventory accuracy and traceability
- Record shipping, receiving, and material movement information in Alpla Systems
What Makes You Great
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution preferred
- Experience with Forklift/Clamp Truck machinery preferred
- Basic computer literacy, including the ability to use Excel and warehouse management software
- Experience using handheld scanners for inventory tracking preferred
- Safety awareness and quality consciousness
