Forklift Operator

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid fork-lifting certificate.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts and/or pallet movers.
• Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
• Good physical condition.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Good organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Able to adjust focus, especially due to concentration on a computer screen.
• The noise level in the work environment can be moderately loud.
• Able to complete physically demanding work.
• Visual acuity to follow hand signals, maintain logs, inspect and maintain machinery.
• Able to work in confined spaces.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Able to maintain attention for long periods of time.
• Able to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
