Responsibilities

• Check-in for truck drivers
• Ensure customer service and on-time shipping
• Prepare finished products for shipment to customers
• Adhere to performance standards in quality and quantity (checking for damages and count)
• Follow warehouse receiving and shipping procedures
• Accurately record and store raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse
• Handle and record all corrugated and plastic packaging products from receipt to storage and then to production
• Maintain good housekeeping within the warehouse
• Ensure adherence to all safety practices, including:
  • Forklift and dock doors safety checklists
  • Proper usage of PPE
  • Communication of any unsafe conditions or behavior
  • Adherence to golden safety rules

• Number of accidents, near misses, observations of unsafe conditions/behaviors
• Inventory accuracy
• Cycle counting targets
• Warehouse inspection score (safety and housekeeping)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution preferred
• Experience with forklift/clamp truck machinery preferred
• Safety awareness and quality consciousness
