FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Responsibilities

• Moves pallets and other materials through different warehouse areas to support production needs.
• Loads and unloads customer trailers as needed.
• Sorts pallets by hand as required.
• Repairs damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

Skills

• Knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures.
• Ability to sort and handle wooden pallets.
• Basic repair skills for wooden pallets.
