About the Role
Closets By Design Arizona is looking for a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join their team in Phoenix, AZ! This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced warehouse environment where your work directly supports the delivery of beautiful, custom storage solutions to customers across the valley.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift equipment to move, stack, and organize materials and inventory throughout the warehouse
- Unload delivery trucks and check off Materials being delivered
- Maintain accurate inventory by properly staging and storing products in designated locations
- Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and report any equipment issues to management
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company procedures
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Help out in the shop when needed
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification or operator license required
- 1+ years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with inventory management or warehouse systems is a plus
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
