About the role
Forklift Operator responsible for material handling, loading, unloading, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (electric and propane) to move pallets, containers, and materials efficiently.
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks, ensuring proper placement and securement of items.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Support production workflows by supplying broken pallet stock for repair and removing finished products from production lines.
- Maintain safety protocols, wear PPE, and stay aware of traffic in work areas.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Requirements
- Experience operating forklifts in warehouse or industrial settings preferred.
- Ability to operate both electric and propane forklifts.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
- Physical ability to lift up to 65 lbs and push/pull up to 34 lbs/feet.
- Effective communication, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Forklift certification is preferred or willingness to become certified.
