Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklift and material handling equipment.
  • Perform inventory functions including cycle counts, physical inventory, product checks.
  • Load and receive materials from trailers.
  • Move materials in and out of racking.
  • Complete Hazmat-compliant documentation.
  • Operate and use plant’s warehouse management system/RFID.
  • Perform packing/quality checks and documentation as required.
  • Hand stack palletized product as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all GMPs, SOPs, safety standards and plant policies.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.
  • Work in non-temperature-controlled environment, including high temperatures and humidity for extended periods of time.
  • Possibility of working around high noise levels, depending on location.
  • Constant interaction with a variety of chemicals and chemical products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of forklift experience is highly preferred.
  • Able to read, write and speak English.
  • Able to visually concentrate, remain alert, and listen intensely for extended periods of time.
  • Able to stand, sit, lift, bend, crouch, reach and climb consistently for twelve hours.
  • Able to grasp and manipulate a variety of packaging components (i.e. sprayers, bottles, caps).
  • Able to work in accordance with Health and Safety and GMP regulations.
  • Able to lift 45 lbs. from floor occasionally.
  • Able to safely operate the forklift around co-workers, other forklifts, and mechanical and electrical equipment for up to 12 hours.
  • Work in non-temperature-controlled environment, including high temperatures and humidity for extended periods of time.
  • Possibility of working around high noise levels, depending on location.
  • Constant interaction with a variety of chemicals and chemical products.

  • Must be able to safely operate the forklift around co-workers, other forklifts, and mechanical and electrical equipment for up to 12 hours.
  • Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment, including high temperatures and humidity for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work overtime where necessary.

Pay

$21.63 per hour + a $2 shift differential for working 3rd shift.

Schedule

This role is based on site at our Mars, PA facility with the hours of Sunday-Thursday 11:30pm-7:40am plus overtime as needed.
