Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift - Lucas, KS
Responsibilities
- Service the department's needs by ensuring the proper parts and materials are available at the proper place and time.
- Maintain inventory accuracy at all times.
- Understand and use of AS400 and RF units to find location of parts, routing, product structure and parts availability.
- Assist in receiving of parts from vendors and route trucks.
- Assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Daily inspection and safe operation of forklift.
Qualifications
- Must have forklift experience.
- Understand team concepts and be a strong team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure situations and be results-oriented.
- Understanding of lean concepts and willing to implement change.
The Land Pride Division currently has an opening for a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator at the Lucas facility. This position works Monday through Thursday, from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am, with overtime on Fridays as required.
