About the role
Operate stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Arrange palletized units by lifting forks for rack placement and retrieving items for shipment.
- Use RF systems to select, record, and verify materials, weights, counts, and conditions of items.
- Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
- Perform daily forklift maintenance and checks, monitor and maintain battery charge, and clean batteries.
- Collaborate with other machinery and material handling equipment.
Requirements
- Basic math skills and ability to understand instructions in the official language.
- Capability to work in cold storage (-20°F/-25°C) or dry storage (up to 100°F/37°C) while wearing PPE.
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs./18 kg and work flexible shifts, including weekends if needed.
- Comfort with noisy environments.
