Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Forklift Operator responsible for accurate storage, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and maintaining location accuracy within cold and dry storage areas. The role requires strong organizational skills and effective collaboration with other teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, with certification
• Unload inbound shipments and store products appropriately
• Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity and type
• Use RF technology for real-time inventory updates
• Check freight for accuracy and damage, maintaining inventory control
• Ensure proper stock rotation using FIFO principles
• Maintain a well-organized warehouse and dock area

Requirements

• Knowledge of inventory control systems and warehouse processes
• Experience operating forklifts and working in cold storage environments
• Ability to analyze inventory variances and ensure accuracy
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
