Forklift Operator- 2nd Shift - 3:30pm to Midnight - Mon - Fri

About the role

The Forklift Operator position within the Operations department reports directly to the Distribution Manager. This full-time role operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 3:30 PM to Midnight, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Works flexible hours to support business goals including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Remains punctual and prepared for work, completing tasks in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner.

• Participates in pre-shift meetings and department meetings, promoting teamwork and assisting in various areas of the operation.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties.
• Fulfills quality standards by producing accurate, thorough, and professional work, adhering to the "Only Handle It Once" (OHIO) principle.
• Follows all instructions, both verbal and written, provided by management and supervisors.
• Maintains a professional appearance and follows the established dress code guidelines.
• Adheres to safety protocols, reporting any unsafe conditions or behaviors to supervisors immediately.
• Meets established productivity standards and understands the stocking strategy of the assigned operations building.
• Ensures all inbound and outbound shipments are error and damage-free, scanning products accurately and matching them with codes.
• Completes all paperwork accurately and reports any product damage or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Knowledgeable about multiple accounts and job functions within the given operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Ability to use a handheld RF Scan Device.
• Physical capabilities to lift 50 lbs, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring twisting, stooping, squatting, and reaching above shoulder level.
• Experience working in a non-climate controlled environment.
